Taking care of the body and cleansing the body system is very important these days. With the innovation that has been happening to the world, many vices are also carried out. One of these vices is drinking alcohol that eventually damages the liver and other organs in the body. Once addicted to this vice, it would be very difficult to escape from it. Others, may end up regretting because their lives have been ruined.

Drinking liquor is one of the deadliest vices in the world. There are a large number of alcoholic admitted in rehab centers in Miami Florida. Because alcohol is widely known as a liver killer, many treatments have been develop to help alcoholics including deep cleansing and alcohol detox.

One of these major treatments include detoxification and rehabilitation. Detoxification is the process that removes alcohol in the body while rehabilitation help patients to cope with new changes after quitting drinking. Both treatment is essential to achieve full recovery but some are confuse with these two therapy.

While the detoxification process is done, patients may experience feeling extremely tired, severe cravings, cannot sleep, body shaking, vomiting and sweating. Patients should be watched from time to time for there are other symptoms that are very alarming. These symptoms include seizures, high fever, mental confusions and visual problems.

One thing to consider is to prepare for a very excruciating process while going through the therapy. Healing your body and trying to restore your damage organs is never an easy task. It will never be. You could have thought of that before even starting to enter the vice. But then again, it is never too late to change and be sober once again.

Meanwhile, alcohol rehabilitation is a long term process. It takes months up to one year until the patient becomes healthy again. Rehab can either be done in a hospital or at home. Unlike detox, rehabilitation conducts a medical assessment before proceeding to the entire process. There is a need to know what exactly is going on before treatments and processes are planned.

Going through detoxification is not only a single process, you will also undergo rehabilitation. Both treatment is needed to complete the recovery. Since you will undergo rehab, that means it is a long term therapy that could take up to years. If you are ready no matter how long this session would take then, it is time for you submit everything to this treatment.

Patients who undergo rehab will also feel the same symptoms when undergoing detox. Nonetheless, rehab often involves educating the patient of the importance of health. Medical experts encourage the patients to cope with new changes rather than going back to drinking. They also dig in as to what trigger the patients to drink. In that way, they may be able to come up with better strategies and positive results.

Both treatments are very essential to achieve full recovery. Detoxification can be done without rehab but it could not give a better result to patients. Rehab on the other hand takes longer time to heal but with detox, it is a guarantee that patients will become sober and healthier. Both therapy should come together. Both are needed.
