As the strains of Pomp and Circumstance begin to fade and the caps have been tossed in the air, most seniors have just one thing on their mind - the after party. As parents, creating the perfect graduation party for your teen can be a great way to show them how proud you are of all of their accomplishments.

Every party needs a fantastic dessert, and one item that is sure to draw raves is Chocolate Pizza, which can be ordered easily from Chocolate Pizza Company. Their custom, three-dimensional cap and tassel Chocolate Pizza is shaped exactly like a graduation cap. You can customize the colors of the candy tassel, as well as writing a personalized message atop the pizza, such as "Class of 2015."

While the graduation-style Chocolate Pizza weighs more than a pound, if you are having a large event, it might be prudent to order an additional unique Chocolate Pizza for your guests to enjoy. There are many different specialty pizzas to consider, and you also can order a custom Chocolate Pizza that says "Congratulations" or "Class of 2015," or another special message. You also can add toppings such as M&Ms or a blend of nuts.

As for the rest of the food, you will need to serve a bit more than gourmet Chocolate Pizza. A buffet is the best option with a graduation party as it allows guests to munch at their leisure and they can mingle with the other grads, friends and family member. The food itself can be anything from a barbecue buffet with pulled pork sliders, potato salad and baked beans to an Italian feast or even a lavish taco bar with all the trimmings. You can even do a large buffet with tons of small sandwiches and finger foods.

Adorn your buffet table in colors befitting the school from which your child graduated such as blue and white or red and yellow. Along with tablecloths in the school's signature colors, you can add balloon bouquets and flower bouquets with these same colors and buy paper plates and also napkins in the school colors.

Beyond the food, don't forget to decorate the rest of your home with plenty of streamers and balloons and some cool memorabilia. For instance you could transform the house into a giant yearbook featuring pictures showcasing happy high school memories. Don't forget to include pictures of the other graduates, as well, and you can even set up a wall filled with their baby pictures to show how far they have come. Set up another table where guests can create a memory book, detailing happy times during high school or even earlier. This can be an excellent keepsake for your son or daughter.
