Screen printing is one way a person can get their point across when it comes to matters of getting creative. Watching it being done may seem cool, but having to do it for the first time is where things get interesting. It s not rocket science per say but there is a certain art that you can admire at printmaking workshops NJ that is needed to make prints on certain garments like a t-shirt for example.

First and foremost, the use of screen printing over other methods of is that it the end result is a durable print capable of accommodating the modern lifestyle of many with the ability to go through many washing machine wash cycles before showing any signs of wear and tear. All thanks to the use of thick inks that help in other ways as well.

Except, it isn t as easy as that. The process above is just a brief nod to how the manner in which things were done before the advent of the digital revolution. Nowadays the same thing mentioned above can be done with a digital stencil to produce the same sort of results with just a few amendments. The final product will be even more accurate and take less time to manufacture.

And that is something screen printing avoids, easily. Furthermore, one can print these unique designs on different kinds of materials and garments. Although a word of caution to the wise would be that some garments work better than others and just because it can be printed on it doesn t necessarily mean that it should be printed on.

But the reality is, the more color that will be used in the design, the more expensive the design will be. The reason is that there will have to be a screen created for each and every color and that takes some time and effort, especially considering that it needs to be perfect every time.

Whether the screen printing in question is done on a small scale or commercial level. There is one thing that rings true throughout and that is the fact that the method is adaptable. This can t be illustrated more clearly than the technological innovations that have been made in the field screen printing finds itself in and yet, it s still able to keep up with the very best of them if not outdo them.

Similarly to being flexible, the use of this medium to print on different kinds of garments ensures that what is left behind is a print that is not only pleasing to the eye and to the touch. But an object that is durable enough to outlast its money s worth.

There are plenty of reasons as to why someone shouldn t consider screen printing and the arguments against it to hold water, which happens to be one of its biggest disadvantages. But the positives are just as great if not greater because when all is said and done, the designs are made and the shirts are printed. There will be nothing left but a quality product on can be proud, not only to own but to wear simply because they ve done their homework on screen printing and what it means to have something printed in that way. Because in this day and age, it s all about image
