The universe is almost fourteen billion years old, give or take a quarter billion years or so. The Milky Way galaxy is about thirteen and a half billion years old. The sun that lights up that galaxy is less than five billion years old. This means that for the majority of its time, there was no light. Well, there were probably other stars. But at the beginning, there was darkness. Then there was light, and it was good. So good that a species that has only existed for less than two million or so years has been controlling it in some form or another for anywhere between 1.7 to 200,000 years when it started manipulating fire. Of course, this species, humanity, had a penchant for advancement, and it did advance, bringing light into their homes with electricity. Then it innovated on its own innovation, creating LED bulbs. Then it decided it wanted to be safe, so now they get their fixtures from an LED UL listed distributor.

UL certification means that a fixture has been inspected. UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories, an independent organization. Their mission is to test the safety of lights before they can be installed.

Light emitting diode, that is what LED stand for. It is a newer way of lighting up a space. Now, there are a number of benefits to switching to it.

There are several benefits to switching to LED over traditional sources like fluorescent or incandescent sources. For one, they last much longer. A fluorescent bulb will burn out before an LED bulb even begins to fade. For another, they have much better electrical efficiency, which means they consume less electricity. Some consumers may not see this as a benefit, but an LED bulb only emits light in a 180 degree angle at most, which means that its beam can be better focused in a single direction as opposed to lighting up a whole room, which makes it perfect for reading lamps.

A distributor should not be hard to find. Indeed, most of them will want to be as visible as possible in order to get as much business as possible. So, they should not be difficult to locate. The most effective way to find one is to simply go on to the internet and look for one. Allowing a browser to access the location can yield results within the immediate vicinity and may even include directions to the physical offices of these distributors and their contact information.

Of course money matters. Some merchants may give a discount for bulk orders. However, it would still be prudent to shop around for the best possible deal before making any commitments. Another thing to do would be to get an estimate as to how much the order is going to cost.

Not everything is equal. Some dealers will be more capable of meeting orders than others. Some may not have the reserves necessary to even meet an order. Again, it is best to discuss an order with a merchant beforehand, otherwise a customer may have to go to multiple sources.

When a person sits down at a restaurant and places an order, they expect that it will be delivered to their table within fifteen to twenty minutes. When an order is placed with a distributor, there is an expectation that it will be met. The best way to make sure that a dealer can deliver is to read any review that previous clients may have left.

People innovate. The natural world cannot be accepted for what it is. If it was, no one would be able to see in the dark and that primal fear would still be prevalent even in adults.
