God expects us as human to live a life free of sin and worship him diligently. Most persons often opt to seek for satisfaction from worldly pleasures rather than from living according to God's will. After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, a path to salvation had to be made for man to get us back closer to God.

According to the word of God, man has to be born again to go to heaven. Jesus said that, for anyone to get to the Father, they had to go through him first. When Nicodemus sought Jesus' answers on being born again, he told him that he had to be born again so as to see God's kingdom. Through salvation, man can reconcile with God.

To accept Jesus Christ, the Bible says you must acknowledge you are a sinner and be ready to follow Jesus. Every man on earth has sinned against God. It is because all have fallen short of the Glory of God and as a result man must have an advocate. The advocate who will allow him face the glorious throne of God and that advocate is Jesus.

When we choose to live a life full of sinful desires, we face condemnation to death. Sins separate us with God since God is holy and does not condone sin. With this, we destined for hell. Even so, when we get salvation, we will have an eternal life with Jesus and God in heaven. The Bible gives us hope since it enlists Jesus Christ as the Savior God sent to us to die for our sinful nature in order for us to inherit the kingdom of God.

The Bible clearly spells out how God gave his only son to save mankind from the burden of sin that over weighed man. Before the coming of Jesus, humans used to offer animal blood to atone for their sins. But that changed when Jesus carried our sins on the cross and was crucified for our sake. His death and the blood he shed was for the restoration of the broken relationship man had with God.

Salvation is a clear testimony of the love of the Lord to human beings. Deliverance is the best way that man would live a life free from the bondage of sin. We cannot fully understand how God operates, but we know that His love for us is more than anything we can compare by worldly standards. Salvation offers hope in the times of distress. It gives faith to the faithless and restores broken relationships.

Paul, one of the best apostles of all time, serves us a great example of how salvation works wonders. When Paul repented, the received Jesus and he rose to become a great missionary and preacher who never gave up in spreading the word of God. After resurrecting, Jesus told his disciples to take charge of preaching the gospel to every corner of the world.

Finally, it takes the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross for man to have a new relationship with God. We can now easily access to God through his only son that wants us to live an eternal life. We must accept that we are sinners and give our life to Christ.
