No one can argue with the fact that dogs require exercise. No matter how big or small they might be, they must be walked and played with on a consistent basis so that their levels of health will be as tremendous as possible. However, in order to better understand which dog breeds are the most athletic, I believe that Assisi Animal Health will be able to come into effect. Focus on these 3 talking points if you are curious about athleticism, as it relates to canines.

Seen as one of the smaller dog breeds, this does not make Tibetan Terriers any less athletic. In fact, you can be certain that these dogs will be able to move along a number of terrain types, ranging from snow to ice. It's also worth noting that, in the past, Tibetan Terriers were immensely effective for the purpose of herding sheep. While they may be overlooked due to their size, there's no doubt that athleticism is not lost on this particular breed of dog.

Dalmatians may also be considered if you're looking for an athletic breed of dog. It's clear that they are reliable in the most taxing of situations; why else would firefighters rely on them so much? Their running speed is without question and it goes without saying that they are amongst the loyal breeds as well. These white and black-spotted dogs are worth keeping around, whether you are someone who is concerned about their physical well-being or not.

If you'd like to know more about the athleticism of dogs, the Greyhound breed should not be overlooked. There are many reasons as to why this bigger type of dog may be considered athletic but I believe that it mostly comes down to running speed. To expand on this, did you know that a Greyhound can actually run up to 45 miles per hour? It's a stunning statistic and it goes to show just how fit these sorts of creatures can actually become.

In order for dogs to stay as healthy as possible, they are going to require exercise. No one can deny this fact but, as you can probably imagine, there are some dogs which are understandably more athletic than others. While the points mentioned before are just a few to keep in mind, there are others which no one should overlook. As long as you are willing to learn, there is a tremendous amount of information that you may be able to benefit from.
